The National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB), Incorporated is the oldest and largest minority trade association in America. NAREB was founded in 1947, as a beacon of excellence forever guiding and preparing its membership to meet the challenges of each new tomorrow. Members of NAREB are referred to as “Realtists.” Although comprised principally of African-American and other minority real estate professionals, the Realists organization not withstanding is an integrated entity open to qualified practitioners of all races who are interested in achieving the ideas of the Realist’s theme “Democracy in Housing.” Realists have made substantial contributions to the cause of democracy by working to provide housing for all without limitations or restrictions.
